Sin & judgement
As a Christian, you must get to the point that you hate sin. Sin must become a disgust. Why? First, it's the reason Jesus came back- to save the world from sin. Second, if you don't hate it, then you will find yourself constantly in some sort of sin. Third, you can't be okay with some sins and let others go. You must understand that sin is sin and you must hate ALL sin. (The sin you don't hate may be the sin you end up in or open a door for some other sin.)
Notice I did not say to hate anyone (a person who is the sinner). We would then have to hate our own selves because we are all sinners. This come from God Himself, He said if we say we have no sin, we are liars and the truth is not in us. Truth of the matter is, we have all sinned and fallen short of God's glory (Romans 3:23)
So why bother, why hate sin? Because we are told not to live sinful lives. Where sin abounds, grace much more abound (Romans 5:20). We all have the power to overcome sin. Yes, a righteous person may fall, but he/she gets back up and quick! God knows the heart. That's why we should have a heart as David did, "Lord I have written your commands on my heart so that I might not sin against You."(Psalm 119:11)
It's not that we live a life that is sinless, but it does mean that we sin less (a whole lot less)- to the point that, we're not even struggling with "big sins" anymore. So Christian, don't let anyone discourage you from calling out sin if you know your heart is to please God. Judge! Just know that with the same measure that you judge, you'll also be judged (Matt 7:2). You should also judge based on a righteous judgement, not based on your own opinion, but on the Word of God.
Lastly, if you have sinned against God and have truly repented for that sin, yet you still have evidence of your sin (a baby, disease, bankruptcy, etc...) don't let anyone (Christian or otherwise) down you because of that. It just shows that they don't know the Word of God. You had a baby, now teach the child the Word of God so they don't make the same mistake. Run on Christian, because you're not running for an earthly crown, but heavenly crown. So, don't be a people pleaser, be a God-pleaser.
